Vermont Colonial Scroll Embroidery and Needlepoint Frame/Stand is a handcrafted replica. Frame swivels on posts, and is held at any desired angle by two locking pins. The material is held taut by turning the wooden nuts on the side bars, thus making the frame adjustable from 13" to 30 1/2". The material can also be scrolled onto the scroll bars, thereby increasing its length to any size. This frame can accommodate various size of needlepoint material by adjusting the scroll bars to a specific length and then locked in position with small locking pins. Wooden nuts provide for greater stability of the side bars and scroll bars. Additional adjustment of the frame is accomplished by a sliding dovetail mechanism which provides 12" of 1" incremental adjustments. Ideally suited for various chair heights as well as able to use in the standing position. Material is held in place by Velcro (included). Made from solid cherry and mahogany with a cherry stain and finished in moisture resistant lacquer.
